Isabelle Glachant (France/China)

Isabelle GLACHANT is a Beijing and Paris-based producer of acclaimed Chinese filmmakers such as Wang Xiaoshuai, Lou Ye, Lu Chuan and Wang Bing. In recent years, she also branched out to Southeast Asia with producing credits on Indonesian titles MARLINA THE MURDERER IN FOUR ACTS (Cannes 2017) and ABRACADABRA (2019). She also founded Asian Shadows, an international sales and distribution company which has represented SITI (Rotterdam 2014), DIE TOMORROW (Berlin 2017) and MEMORIES OF MY BODY (Venice 2018), among others.

Juho Kuosmanen (b. 1979) is a Helsinki-based filmmaker who graduated from ELO Helsinki Film School of Aalto University in 2014. His first two films won prizes in Cannes Film Festival. THE HAPPIEST DAY IN THE LIFE OF OLLI MÄKI, his feature debut, was the 2016 Cannes Un Certain Regard winner, while his latest, COMPARTMENT NO. 6 (2021), won the Cannes Grand Prix. Besides making award-winning films, he has directed avant-garde opera and theater. He also makes silent short films with live music and foleys. He is the co-founder and artistic director of a small film festival in his birth town Kokkola.

Raymond Phathanavirangoon is the Executive Director for SEAFIC. Previously, he was the international programmer for Toronto International Film Festival as well as Programme Consultant for Hong Kong International Film Festival and Cannes Critics' Week. Prior to that, he was Director of Marketing & Special Projects (Acquisitions) for sales agent Fortissimo Films. He acted as Reading Committee Member for Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) and was advisory member of Asian Film Awards. He was festival jury at Berlin, Sarajevo, Seattle, Antalya, Jecheon and others. With Françoise von Roy he runs Script Circle, a bi-monthly script development workshop in Berlin and the script consulting training “Six Days of Practice“.
