THE SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Each project submitted shall first be reviewed by the SEAFIC Team to determine its eligibility fulfillment.

  2. If the project is determined by SEAFIC to be eligible, the project's submission materials shall then be sent to the 3-person Reading Committee.

  3. The Reading Committee shall review all submission materials except the script, and select a total of up to 15 projects.

  4. The projects selected by the Reading Committee shall then be sent to the Script Committee. The three committee members shall read the full-length scripts of each project and select the finalists for interview via Skype. The finalists shall be interviewed by late December.

  5. After the interviews, the final 5 projects shall be selected by the committee.

  6. The final selection of the 5 projects shall be announced early February.
